Copley Controls's Xenus controllers feature a powerful camming mode.
The controllers work with Copley's high force, direct drive ServoTube actuators to translate cam lookup tables into fast-executing linear action.

Flying shear - a material cutting machine based on electronic camming highlights the Xenus + ServoTube performance benefits, says Copley.
The machine achieves 'unprecedented' productivity by cutting sheets to length without stopping material flow.
Key to non-stop material travel is the machine's ability to slice sheets on the fly.
In operation, the knife carriage accelerates from rest to full material speed, travels in synchronism with the material, and then shears the sheets.
The blade and carriage retract immediately after shearing in readiness for the next sheet.
No alternative mechanism permits such high paper speed and productivity.
