Also, it has an alarm output function (generating an alarm output at a given setting threshold) and disconnection detection function, so it can be applied to an automatic inspection line and a monitoring system.
Onboard programmable output allows for control of relays or external contacts in case of an event or alarm.

Simply plug the compact PTI-4(USB) into the computer's USB port - no need to switch off the PC or even restart Windows.
API-Tool, provided by Contec, allows the user to develop applications in various programming languages, such as Visual C++, Visual Basic, etc.
It also provides a hardware diagnostic tool, which keeps the hardware in optimal condition.
Typical applications include monitoring of furnaces, cold storage, computer server rooms and environmental monitoring to name but a few.
