Inverted research microscopes meet any
requirement
Carl Zeiss MicroImaging is introducing the Axio Observer inverted research microscope, available in three different configurations for materials microscopy
High performance optics, a clearly structured touch screen display and options for different degrees of encoding and motorization considerably increase the convenience and reliability of material and structural analysis, component measurements and routine examinations in metal production and processing The ergonomic design offered by the microscopes is tailored to the individual requirements of users in research, education and industry materials labs as well as in quality assurance and metallographic labs

With the Axio Observer.A1m, Axio Observer.D1m and Axio Observer.Z1m configurations, you can configure the optimal system for any requirement - from the entry level class to the high-end class.
The apo-chromatically corrected illumination beam path substantially improves performance in all contrasting techniques using incident light.
It ensures brilliant, true-to-color detail rendition in brightfield, and offers optimal stray light minimization in darkfield.
This allows the detection of even the smallest structures and defects.
Fluorescence, transmitted light-brightfield, phase contrast, homogenous DIC, C-DIC and polarization techniques can also be utilized.
With extensive status monitoring and complete microscope control, the touch screen TFT display on the Axio Observer.Z1m allows for a unique level of control for microscope and system operation.
Complete remote control of the microscope is also possible by attaching the TFT to a docking station.
User settings can be stored and re-accessed at any time.
All encoded, motorized elements on the Axio Observer.D1m and Axio Observer.Z1m versions guarantee constant status monitoring of the system.
The contrast manager and the light manager monitor the settings of the microscope, ensuring excellent imaging results and reliable operation.
