Medical faculty uses Oculab software

A Digital Healthcare product story
Edited by the Laboratorytalk editorial team Jun 10, 2009

Digital Healthcare has supplied its Oculab software platform for a clinical ophthalmology screening programme, the Funagata Eye Study, at the Yamagata University Faculty of Medicine in Japan.

The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Science at the Yamagata University Faculty of Medicine has implemented Oculab to integrate its various clinical ophthalmology instruments, and make the images available to the clinician for evaluation and diagnosis of sight- threatening disease.

Oculab can scale easily from a stand-alone system in a single district general or private hospital, to networked systems in the largest teaching hospital or regional Trust spread over many locations.

It handles millions of patient records with speed and accuracy.
