Link chromatography information to Lims
New product provides fileless bi-directional communication links between chromatography data management system and any Lims
Dionex and Labtronics announce a new interfacing solution that uses LimsLinkCDS from Labtronics to provide secure, bi-directional communication between the Chromeleon chromatography management system and any Lims This new interface, which has been successfully implemented by Solutia Pharmaceutical Services at its CarboGen site in Aarau, Switzerland, was developed in a co-operative effort between Solutia, Dionex, and Labtronics

The fileless Chromeleon/ LimsLinkCDS interface communicates directly with Chromeleon and the Lims without creating additional files outside of either application, a critical consideration with respect to 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.
Electronic signatures, 100 assignable levels of password protection and a full audit trail implementation further ensure that the interface provides the level of security and accountability required to maintain compliance as data are transferred between applications.
All parameters controlling security, sequence file creation and reporting are easily configured from a template within LimsLinkCDS.
At the CarboGen site in Aarau, LimsLinkCDS is integrated with three Chromeleon database servers that support about 100 instruments distributed throughout the site.
LimsLinkCDS queries the Lims for worklists of samples to be run, and automatically creates Chromeleon sequences.
Sample results are automatically captured by LimsLinkCDS, sorted, and input directly to the Lims.
The entire process is carried out without intervention by the analyst.
This high level of automation provides the accuracy and efficiency required to meet Solutia's commitment to science, speed and quality in drug development.
The LimsLinkCDS /Chromeleon interface provides Chromeleon users with a complete, configurable and fully automated Lims interfacing solution. Request a free brochure from Dionex Corporation ...
