Dionex expands with new subsidiary in Sweden

Dionex has expanded its international sales and distribution capabilities by opening a wholly owned subsidiary, Dionex Sweden, in Stockholm, Sweden

The new subsidiary enables the company to effectively address the growing demand for Dionex products.

The expansion brings to 19 the total number of Dionex direct sales subsidiaries operating outside the USA.

"Europe accounts for about 40% of the company's sales," said Bruce Barton, Dionex vice president of international sales and service.

"With unique challenges and growth opportunities in each European location, the addition of Dionex Sweden strengthens our ability to fully address the Scandinavian market".

Dionex now sells directly through its subsidiaries in Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, China, Denmark, France, Germany, India, the Republic of Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, the Netherlands (Benelux), Singapore, Switzerland, Taiwan, and the UK.

The company also has strategically located customer support centres, including applications laboratories, providing industry-specific expertise in centralised locations in Europe, North America, and Asia.
