The bicomponent laminates are said to be ideal venting and filtration products for the automotive, medical, pharmaceutical, microelectronics and food industries

Advanced Filtration has added new high performance products to its range of membranes Combining the bicomponent substrate with Tetratex ePTFE films gives customers the opportunity to choose a product that is optimally adapted to their filtration or venting requirements

The substrate provides consistent quality and resistance to thermal aging and solvents.

Together with the extraordinarily hydrophobic breathable properties of the Tetratex ePTFE membrane, these products are ideal for a range of applications including ostomy bags, sensor vents and microfiltration.

Tetratex ePTFE membrane has a unique microporous structure.

It is extremely water repellant while allowing air and moisture vapour to pass through.

The membrane comprises of millions of small randomly connected fibrils, which create a microporous structure smaller than can be seen by the naked eye.

The combination of this substrate material and the ePTFE membrane creates a first-class, cost-effective roll good, which is easily weldable to a broad range of other plastic materials.
