EnduraTec introduces the new ElectroForce 3100 series test instruments, configured for biomaterials testing With 50mg and 50nm resolution, these instruments set new standards in precision testing and are said to be ideal for operations such as tisssue mechanics research, micro-indentation of cartilage and other soft tissues, micro-scratching of biomaterial surfaces, mechanical stimulation of tissue engineered constructs, individual fibre testing, and so on

The Micro Elf 3100 utilises the performance and precision of the Bose linear motor.

This patented design features moving magnets coupled with a flexure support that replaces traditional bearings.

By eliminating bearing friction and wear the motor provides unmatched precision and durability.

This electromagnetic design creates 22N of linear force with 20g acceleration and frequency response to 100Hz.

Since the ElectroForce technology has no sliding parts it requires virtually no maintenance.

The Micro Elf 3100 is also lab friendly with its compact size, whisper quiet operation and energy-efficient design.

This instrument will fit on any benchtop or desk and can be plugged into a standard wall outlet.

The Elf 3100 test instrument includes EnduraTec's WinTest control system.

WinTest provides an intuitive, easy-to-use interface that enables the user to quickly set up tests with minimal training.

The WinTest training CD is said to be an industry first and is included with every instrument.
