Pipette dispensing with ease and style

Multipette stream and Multipette Xstream from Eppendorf are said to be the first electronic dispensers to combine extreme ease of use with stylish design and a broad range of advanced features

Close attention to the ergonomics of pipetting has resulted in a lighter, more compact design, with an improved grip for minimal effort during repetitive liquid handling The intuitive camera-style selection wheel and easy-to-use software simplify operation, while longer battery life ensures reliable cordless use

Multipette stream and Multipette Xstream conform to IVD and PhysioCare Concept.

Faster and slower aspiration and dispensing speeds have been added for greater versatility and the volume range spans 1ul to 50ml.

Both Multipette stream and Multipette Xstream feature the unique automatic sensor recognition of Combitips plus, with single-button ejection.

Multipette stream is ideal for standard use, while the Xstream model is also capable of titration, sequential dispensing and pipetting supernatants.

According to Albrecht Wiener, Eppendorf UK managing director: "These two new products offer fast, reproducible, automatic dispensing using the positive-displacement principle.

"This means that even difficult viscous solutions (glycerol, oil) or liquids with high vapour pressure (acetone, ethanol) can be aspirated and dispensed accurately and without risk of contamination.

"The combination of powerful features and ease of use will quickly establish Multipette stream and Multipette Xstream as essential tools for the life science laboratory" Eppendorf UK, headquartered in Cambridge, is a subsidiary of Eppendorf of Hamburg, Germany, a leading global supplier of systems and research tools for the biotechnology industry.
