Free handbook of oxidative metabolism

An ESA Biosciences product story
Edited by the Laboratorytalk editorial team Jul 24, 2001

ESA Analytical has announced the availability of a 48-page handbook providing readers with a comprehensive reference text on oxidative metabolism

The free 48-page handbook on oxidative metabolism from ESA Analytical details Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS), how they can overwhelm the bodies defensive mechanisms, prevention and the consequences when the bodies natural defences fail.

Where appropriate HPLC-ECD based methods and references to published literature describing analytical methodology relevant to ROS are detailed.

A comprehensive bibliography of articles is included which details the many diseases associated with free radical production which include rheumatoid arthritis, athersclerosis, inflammation, cardiovascular disease, cancer and reperfusion injury.
