ESA has announced its presence at Pittcon 2003 in Orlando, USA (9th-14th March 2003) with the latest additions to a range of highly sensitive and selective detectors for HPLC Building upon extensive knowledge of the applications in clinical chemistry, drug discovery, neuroscience, oxidative metabolism and food science that benefit from the sensitivity and selectivity of electrochemical chromatographic detection the company will preview 7 new posters

Titles of the new posters will include 'Attomole analysis of neuroactive amino acids using CE with LIF detection' and 'Separation and femtomole detection of tocotrienols and tocophenolic isomers using HPLC with coulometric array detection'.

At booth 6169 the company will be showing their unique CoulArray system a product that provides routine femtogram sensitivity, typically three orders of magnitude better than techniques such as photodiode array detection.

Using multiple sensors working in concert the CoulArray system is able to resolve co-eluting peaks, determine peak purity and produce qualitative information for compound identification based on the inherent electrochemical behavior of the analytes.

Technical specialists will be on hand to demonstrate and discuss the Coulochem III Detector Highly versatile, the Coulochem III Detector is the only EC detector providing amperometric, coulometric, redox, screen, pulse and scan mode operation.

Unlike other HPLC-EC detectors, the Coulochem III Detector incorporates DC and Pulse/Scan modes in discrete modules for maximum performance.

Expanded gain ranges make it ready for any cell type.

New electronics give enhanced stability and the lowest limits of detection possible. Request free introductory details about products from ESA Biosciences ...
