ESA and Picometrics have introduced the Zetalif Evolution, a new laser induced fluorescence detector offering sensitivity typically 100-1000 times that of conventional fluorescence detection.
User configurable to economise valuable bench space the Zetalif Evolution can mate directly to virtually all separation techniques including CE, CEC, capillary LC, micro HPLC and standard HPLC.
Taking advantage of highly monochromatic laser sources the Zetalif Evolution provides the selectivity to detect trace levels of compounds of interest in complex matrices.
Featuring the widest range of operational wavelengths, from 266nm to 785nm, the Zetalif Evolution can work with both fluorescent and derivatised molecules.
The technique of LIF has gained wide acceptance in applications where sample volume is critical, such as the analysis of neuropeptides, proteins, amino acids, oligosaccharides, and detection of tags for pharmaceutical compound identification in combinatorial library synthesis.
