Laminar flow cabinet, horizontal and
vertical
Esco launches a new range of Airstream horizontal and vertical laminar flow cabinets (the AHC-D and AVC-D models) with the Sentinel Delta microprocessor control
Laminar flow cabinets must operate within a specific airflow envelope in order to provide optimum product and cross contamination protection Contamination can result in experimental failures, leading to loss of productivity

Biohazard safety cabinet offers highest protection
99.9999% typical ULPA filtration ensures the highest degree of sample and user protection while the dynamic chamber design prevents any cabinet leaks
For decades, conventional cabinets have used pressure gauges to monitor the pressure drop across the Hepa/Ulpa filter, as a means of monitoring operating status.
Filter pressure drop does not correlate with airflow, since pressure drop increases as filters load.
With the development of reliable, temperature-compensated, cost-effective air velocity sensors, Esco has made airflow monitoring standard on its range of Airstream laminar flow cabinets.
Esco proprietary sensors have been developed in-house and specifically optimised for airflow velocities typical on laminar flow cabinets.
Airstream cabinets feature German made EBM-papst permanently lubricated, centrifugal motor/fans with external rotor designs.
Esco Ulpa filters operate at a typical efficiency of >99.999% at 0.1 to 0.3 micron sizes, better than Hepa filters.
Esco cabinets provide ISO Class 3 air cleanliness within the work zone as per ISO 14644.1, significantly cleaner than the usual Class 5 classification on clean benches offered by the competition.
External surfaces are powder coated with Esco Isocide to eliminate 99.9% of surface bacteria within 24 hours of exposure.
An angled front, curved work surface front edge, and glass sides promote ergonomics.
The spill-retaining work top design with a recessed central area contains accidental liquid spills.
