Save on oil and soil standards
Prices slashed by 50% or more on line of soil and oil environmental quality control standards until December
They can be used in meeting quality control requirements of the American Industrial Hygiene Association's environmental lead laboratory accreditation programme which accredits testing laboratories under the US EPA's National lead laboratory accreditation programme.
The laboratories accredited under these programmes are authorised under US regulations to perform testing to assess the hazard from lead-based paint in buildings, ships and surrounding areas undergoing abatement procedures.
ERM-6a, lead free paint, contains <4ppm lead and is intended to serve as a blank during testing of field samples of paint.
ERM-7a, lead free soil, also contains <4ppm lead and is intended as a blank for soil testing.
ERM-8a, lead paint, contains 367ppm lead and is intended for use as a laboratory quality control sample when testing paint for lead.
ERM-9a, lead paint in soil, contains 484ppm lead and is intended for use as a laboratory quality control sample when testing soil for lead.
These certified reference materials have been tested against Nist Standard Reference Materials SRM 2582 (Powdered Paint), SRM 2709 (San Joaquin Soil) and SRM 2586 (Trace Elements in Soil Containing Lead).
They are packaged in 50g quantities (ERM-8a is 35g) and are being offered at an introductory price of $2 per gram until 15 November, after which the price will be $3 per gram.
Five non-Nist traceable standards are also offered.
ERM-7, lead free soil (8ppm) and four lead paint in soil standards, ERM-9, 10, 11, and 12 (558-6606ppm lead) are being offered in both 5 and 50g units at $1 per gram until 15 November, after which the price will be $1.65/gram.
Minimum order is $50.
