TagRFP is about three times brighter than mCherry protein, which makes it the brightest monomeric red fluorescent protein available so far

Evrogen introduces novel monomeric red fluorescent protein TagRFP with excitation and emission maxima at 555nm and 584nm, respectively TagRFP shows successful performance in fusions even with cellular oligomerizing proteins

TagRFP was tested in fusion with following target proteins: beta-actin, alpha-tubulin, zyxin, vinculin, connexin 43, end-binding protein EB3, bid protein, and fibrillarin.

Evrogen offers vectors for generation of TagRFP-tagged fusions and for expression of TagRFP and its fusions in mammalian cells as well as antibodies for immunological detection of TagRFP.

Evrogen technology embodied in TagRFP is available for expanded and commercial use with an adaptable licensing program.

Benefits from flexible and market-driven license options are offered for upgrade and novel development of products and applications.
