Farfield appoints John Parkes as sales manager

Parkes will be responsible for supporting Farfield's global sales network, with a special emphasis on domestic, European, and US business

Farfield Sensors, a specialist in analytical instrumentation for biophysics and nanotechnology, announces the appointment of John Parkes as sales manager.

Parkes, formerly with Perkin Elmer UK, brings his experience in product promotion, sales and customer relations to Farfield.

Kathryn Chapman, sales director at Farfield, described Parkes's appointment as "another exciting addition to the Farfield sales team.

"John joins us at an important time for Farfield.

"We are experiencing ever increasing pull from the biophysics and nanotechnology markets.

"In turn, this demands an increased sales resource and focus around the world for our AnaLight product range.

He says "I am looking forward to being part of such an innovative and progressive team.

"I shall be selling Farfield's revolutionary products into the expanding markets of biophysics and nanotechnology.
