Application note details melamine analysis

Fortis Technologies has launched an application note regarding the analysis of melamine using a Fortis Hilic column.

Fortis Hilic provides a simple method for the analysis of this compound, in which excellent range and sensitivity are achieved in milk without the need for complex sample clean up.

Analysis shows that Hilic-UV works reproducibly for this difficult to retain triazine compound.

Fortis Technologies is preparing to exhibit its new solutions at HPLC 2009 on booth 31, from 28 June to 2 July at the International Congress Centre, Dresden, Germany.

The company will be presenting its solutions in HPLC column technology.

Solutions in silica technology allied with the 2.1um particle range for use in UHPLC will all be showcased at HPLC 2009.

Solutions include Fortis C18, a silica-based phase that operates across the entire pH range low, mid and high.

The company will also demonstrate Fortis Phenyl, a di-phenyl functionality that provides unique separation capacity, as well as being a non-bleed phenyl phase.
