Effective laboratory mills for
pre-crushing

Samples with feed particle size of 120mm maximum can be ground to a few hundred micrometres with in a very short time and in a single operation.

Cutting mills are the most effective laboratory mills for pre-crushing and fine grinding of soft to medium-hard, dry samples as well as fibrous materials and plastics, says Fritsch Typical fields of application: rubber, leather, paper, cardboard, tissues, plastics, wood, non-metallic waste, coal, animal feeds (also pellets), maize, grain, confectionery, malt, farinaceous products, spices, dried meat, bones, horn, dragees, tablets, leaves, fibres, peat, roots, tobacco, cork, straw or film

Method of operation: the sample is ground by a rotor fitted with blades which combines three fixed blades to effect size reduction.

Three different models with different feed particle size and throughput are available.

Fritsch also offers a cutting mill combination which consists of the universal cutting mill Pulverisette 19 and power cutting mill Pulverisette 25.
