Logger developed for use in the paint and finishing industry has been adapted for use in non-paint applications including food manufacturing and kilns

The Grant OQ606 is now suitable for temperature profiling in a wider range of applications including food manufacturing The Grant OQ606 oven logger, successfully used in the paint and finishing industry, has now been adapted for use in non-paint applications

The OQ606 comes free with SquirrelView software (V1.03) which now has a new temperature profiling feature.

By using this feature, it is very quick and easy to establish what has happened to a product while in the oven, ie, has it been at the right temperature for the right amount of time.

Squirrelview calculates the 'cure time' to allow for a batch to be quickly passed or failed.

Previously, this function was available only in Grant's Paintwise software.

In addition to changes in software, a new range of barriers are available in various sizes and different grades of finish for protecting the OQ606 when used in high temperature applications.

These changes make the OQ606 suitable for use in food manufacturing applications including the manufacturing of cakes, bread, confectionery, meat, fish, poultry, beverages, dairy products, pizza, pasta and ready made meals.

Also suitable for use in chillers, freezers, cold stores, blast freezers, freezing tunnels and refrigerated transport.

Other applications include surface coatings, including use in conveyor and rack ovens along with use in kilns and furnaces for manufacturing of bricks, ceramics, white ware and pottery and in the heat treatment of metals and glassware.
