Universal inputs (temperature, voltage, resistance) together with multiple analogue to digital convertors and low-cost memory options ensure the 2020 is ideal for use within manufacturing and process industries, science and quality assurance applications.
The unit can be used either as a standalone data acquisition system and for system integration it can be connected via USB or RS232 serial ports, both included as standard.
Ethernet, landline and GSM wireless communications can be accommodated providing global access from any site to a centrally located system for convenient and prompt supply of data for today's, and tomorrow's engineers.
The dedicated communications module assures that future upgrades and planned communications options can be accommodated.
The Squirrel 2020's multiple ADCs provide concurrent sampling.
For example, one channel can sample at high speed while sampling at different speeds on other channels.
Beneficial where varying rates of response parameters are being monitored, eg pressure and temperature.
With 16Mb on-board memory capable of taking over 1,000,000 readings, the Squirrel 2020 will satisfy the most demanding of applications.
If additional memory or mobility is required, an easy-access memory card slot accepts standard MMC (multi-media card) with up to 64Mb of memory.
These cards can also be used to re-program the loggers parameters by any operator on site.
High voltage inputs are standard, useful in automotive applications.
The intuitive display has a menu-style similar to a mobile phone enabling easy operation, with the benefit of both forward and backward scrolling.
