The premium cabinet range can reduce sound emissions to as low as 58dB(A) for the already quiet oil-less OF1200 compressors

Sales of the Gast's Jun-Air range of soundproof cabinets have increased by 50% in two years; far exceeding the company's expectations, says UK managing director Adrian Lee.

The range is said to be ideal for laboratory, medical and other working environments where low-noise is a requirement; and for installations close to individual workstations.

They feature a removable top to provide easier access for maintenance and are designed with usability, hygiene and easy maintenance in mind.

The low-cost 'Simple' cabinet range is designed for the Jun-Air OF300 oil-less compressor, which has tank capacities up to ten litres.

The cabinet reduces sound emissions from 72dB(A) to as low as 47dB(A).

The range can be free-standing or wall mounted and is available for compressors with outputs up to 146l/min at 8bar and tank sizes up to 40litres.
