The new Soxtherm Rapid Soxhlet Extraction System from Gerhardt is said to be ideal for many food applications where fast, efficient same day fat results are required Soxtherm is available as a two, four, or six place unit to suit all laboratories
Large or small beakers may be used depending on the sample type to optimise solvent usage.
Extracted fat can be weighed for total determination, or can be titrated for free fatty acids.
The updated fat extraction system can now be operated with the recently developed Soxtherm Manager from the comfort of your own PC.
