Productive drying of HPLC fractions

In busy labs faced with processing large numbers of HPLC fractions this new sample rack eliminates the need for manual handling of tubes between fraction collector and evaporator

Genevac has announced the introduction of a new sample rack compatible with Gilson fraction collector beds In busy labs faced with processing large numbers of HPLC fractions the new sample rack eliminates the need for manual handling of tubes between fraction collector and Genevac evaporator, significantly improving productivity and reducing the risk of mis-identification and cross contamination

In addition, each block is colour coded and laser-engraved with a unique set of tube identification numbers, so that blocks can be readily identified both on the fraction collector bed and post-evaporation.

The new rack features self-locating blocks, which accept standard 16x100mm fraction collector tubes in banks of 5x5 tubes.

Three blocks can be accommodated per rack, so that four racks will accept 300 tubes in twelve blocks; enough to completely fill a Genevac HT-12 evaporator for one run.

The speed of evaporation of these blocks in a Genevac HT-12 is far greater than can be obtained by drying the entire Gilson rack in a larger machine, making this a more productive, safer and thus cost-effective method. Request a free brochure from Genevac ...
