Flexible, high-throughput solvent evaporation
Chemists will, for the first time, be able to evaporate two different solvents simultaneously, significantly speeding drying in busy HPLC and central purification laboratories
Reflecting upon this success Steve Knight, marketing manager, commented: "Organic synthesis and purification labs are a tight knit community.
"The early users of the HT-24 have openly welcomed the high capacity, excellent performance and operational flexibility the system has delivered.
"As a consequence existing users of Genevac HT-8 and HT-12 instruments as well as competitive instruments such as the SpeedVac have traded up to the operational and productivity benefits the HT-24 provides".
The high-throughput design of the HT-24 provides capacity for up to 96 shallow-well microplates to be dried down at the same time, while capacity for standard 16x100mm fraction collector tubes is 576 tubes per run.
Using the HT-24 a chemist is able to evaporate two different solvents simultaneously, significantly speeding sample drying in busy laboratories.
Compact in design and offering a very high capacity for a wide range of sample formats including microplates, tubes, vials, fraction collector racks and Genevac's hybrid HPLC blocks the HT-24 offers the versatility and productivity to assist chemists in a high-throughput environments.
