Newsletter gives hints and tips on solvent removal

A Genevac product story
Edited by the Laboratorytalk editorial team Jan 31, 2008

For the many scientists faced with removing solvents from their samples, Genevac has, by popular demand, relaunched its informative e-newsletter - Solvent Removal Online

Each issue of the e-newsletter will include a question and answer forum, troubleshooting hints and tips and a feature on a technical innovation or applications advance in the area of solvent evaporation and concentration.

Genevac says it is looking to publish the e-newsletter around six times per year.

Features in the new issue include 'Understanding your condenser', 'Variable vacuum ramps - how they improve solvent recovery', 'Hints and tips on trapping very volatile solvents' and 'SampleGenie - a new technical innovation for concentration, drying or lyophilisation of large volume samples directly into a small vial'.

The following issue of Solvent Removal Online will look at why temperature control is so important, and how to optimise its use.
