Goodfellow acquires the Technical Glass
Company
Goodfellow Cambridge has acquired the Technical Glass Company, a UK-based supplier of ceramics, ceramic components and specialist glass for scientific and industrial applications
In announcing the purchase, Goodfellow managing director Stephen Aldersley stated: "The acquisition of Technical Glass not only extends our offering of ceramic products, it also brings enhanced competencies in custom fabrication and functionality "We expect the synergies resulting from this acquisition to be of significant benefit not only to a wide range of customers but also to both companies"
The Technical Glass Company is a well-regarded supplier of quality ceramics whose professional staff has extensive knowledge of ceramic products, properties and applications, as well as practical, hands-on experience in product development, manufacturing and technical problem solving.
John Savage, the founder of the Technical Glass Company and an acknowledged expert in the field of glass and ceramics, will be staying with the business as a consultant.
