Goodman Co has announced the completion of its acquisition of Avantec Vascular Corp on July 30, 2002 Under the terms of the agreement announced on May 20, 2002, Goodman was to formally close the transaction no later than January 31, 2003
"The early consummation of this deal reflects our strong desire to rapidly market Avantec's state of the art balloons and stents worldwide, and to accelerate its drug-eluting stent program," commented Mr Akira Yamamoto, President of Goodman Co., Ltd.
