Genetix has announced the launch of the PetriWell plate which, for the first time, allows complete handling of a Petri dish by robotic processes Comprising a Petri dish held within an SBS compliant plate framework, the plate can be used in a wide range of applications, including cell culture work-up
Made from a material known as EquiGlass, the plate guarantees the high degree of flatness and optical clarity essential where imaging of cell growth is required.
A growth area of 40cm2 facilitates productive cell growth.
The black upper structure serves to minimise extraneous light, while improved cell adhesion is achieved through a novel surface treatment.
The plates are also available untreated.
Genetix plans to add to the range by introducing plates in 6, 24, 96 and 384-well formats. Request a free brochure from Genetix ...
