Kevin McCormack joins Guava with extensive commercial experience with in the fields of drug discovery and life science research
Guava Technologies, specialist in cell based research tools, has announced that Kevin McCormack has joined the company as director of European operations McCormack was most recently director of marketing for Japan and International at Amersham Biosciences in the United Kingdom

McCormack joins Guava with extensive commercial experience with in the fields of drug discovery and life science research.
He first joined Amersham in 1993, where he held a number of senior positions, including several commercial roles with responsibilities for the United States, Europe, Japan/Asia and international markets.
In 1998, he was appointed as chief executive officer of Imaging Research Canada.
More recently, as the director of marketing for Japan and International, McCormack successfully established Amersham's key technologies in HTS (high throughput screening) and cell-based screening and was instrumental in significantly increasing revenue for these platforms.
Additionally, he established a joint venture in Europe and managed senior relationships with key biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies.
