Ametek Lloyd Instruments will be demonstrating the very latest Lloyd Instruments and Chatillon materials testing equipment and materials analysis software to the plastics and rubber industry

Displays will include the new low force universal testing system, which will be on show for the first time in Europe The company will also demonstrate the new twin column LR10KPlus and the single column LRXPlus materials testing machines

Chatillon and Lloyd Instruments systems will be interfaced to the company's latest releases of their Nexygen materials testing software including two new packages: one for integration with Chatillon digital force gauges and one for integration with the new low force measurement system.

The Nexygen materials analysis software packages represent a new approach to materials testing and force measurement and are ISO 9000 TickIT accredited.

The Windows-based products are easy to use, sophisticated for both simple and complex applications, and easily interfaced with other Windows-based software packages.

Other products being displayed include the servo pneumatic fatigue testing equipment, hand-held force gauges and mechanical test stands, and the Davenport MFI-10 Melt Flow Indexer and the all-new HDT/VICAT thermoplastic testing system.

Numerous products can be tested with the company's latest universal testing systems, from analysing the flexibility of plastic containers to the strength of cable sheaths.

The latest models feature a 1kHz data sampling rate for high test accuracy, ten predefined test setups, the ability to save 600 test results and a 32bit flash upgradeable processor to accept instrument upgrades via a personal computer without requiring internal modifications.

Twin column systems, like the LR10KPlus, feature stable platforms to test materials accurately under differing environmental conditions to mimic everyday applications.
