Test stand offers force measurement
precision

Mechanical test stands have modular design to allow customers to build a system to match their exact needs and budget

Lloyd Instruments unveils a new range of modular Chatillon bench top mechanical test stands for accurate force gauge testing up to 2.2kN Cost-effective and easy to use, the MT series offers precise force measurement control for any appropriate capacity mechanical or digital Chatillon force gauge

An innovative modular design allows customers to build a system to match their exact needs and budget.

Customer can choose to have the MT test stand configured as a lever-actuated model (for rapid testing) or hand wheel driven (for precise, fine movement).

Uniquely, if both control options are required, the user may change the test stand configuration by a simple interchange of the appropriate load movement module.

Through a simple logical ordering process, customers can choose options such as the machine capacity and stand column length.

This ranges from a standard 750 mm, an extended version measuring 1000 mm, and an ultra model measuring 1500 mm.

With a wide choice of force gauge mounting kits, the MT150 and MT500 models accept Chatillon digital force gauges up to 667N or 2.2kN capacities, respectively.

These gauges fit easily onto the stands offering superior operation that saves time, effort and costs.

Lightweight and easily portable, a deep 152mm throat accommodates large sized or awkwardly shaped samples easily.

The long 152mm travel, as well as extended column versions, means higher elongation materials can be tested.

Bench mounting with optional wall or horizontal configurations are also available, along with a wide selection of digital and analogue travel indicators, grips and fixtures.

Typical force testing applications include checking the strength of automotive components, plastics, paper and packaging, electronics and components, aerospace, rubber, medical devices, metal fabrication, wire and springs, textiles, food, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, toys and nursery products, business equipment, military, domestic appliances and more.

Gauge control is extended further using the company's new Nexygen Gauge force measurement software.

Based on powerful Nexygen MT data analysis and control software, this affordable version provides a readily accessible platform for fast gauge set-up and clear results analysis.

Moreover, Microsoft compatibility extends the reporting flexibility. Request a free brochure from Lloyd Instruments ...
