RF1000 Rota-filler makes Pittcon appearance

A Heathrow Scientific product story
Edited by the Laboratorytalk editorial team Apr 10, 2009

Heathrow Scientific provided a hands-on demonstration of the RF1000 Rota-filler at the 2009 Pittcon conference.

The RF1000's one-handed operation allows the user to easily squeeze the manual bulb and toggle back and forth to aspirate and dispense.

The RF1000 is suitable for the educational market and was designed for use in extreme temperatures such as in cold rooms, humidity chambers, greenhouses or outdoor applications where more expensive mechanical pipettors could get damaged.

It is also ideal for use in sensitive areas such as food factories or in close proximity to magnetic coils where metallic parts can pose a problem.

Heathrow Scientific will exhibit the RF1000 again, at the Achema 2009 show, which runs from 11-15 May in Frankfurt, Germany.
