High sensitivity fluorescence analysis
Rapid scanning fluorescence spectrophotometer features increased efficiency diffraction grating and user adjustable slit width to allow high resolution conditions to be set
The F-2500 rapid scanning fluorescence spectrophotometer from Hitachi High-Technologies Corp features an outstanding optical design for high sensitivity and a user adjustable slit width to allow high resolution conditions to be set The exceptionally high sensitivity results from the use of an increased efficiency diffraction grating and a horizontal beam geometry

Integrated software for fluorescence instruments

This optical arrangement is of particular benefit when small quantities of sample are available, since even using standard 1cm cuvettes, just 0.6ml sample is required, compared to around 2.0ml for conventional vertical geometries.
Extremely high stability is ensured by a ratio beam measurement system which eliminates any fluctuations from the light source and gives a very flat baseline.
High sensitivity 18 and 90 microlitre flow cell accessories are also available for the F-2500, which allows the system to be used in conjunction with liquid chromatographs.
These accessories ensure high sensitivity by taking the fluorescence from the end face of the flow path.
