HI 4050 available in factory-configured enclosure

A Hardy Instruments product story
Edited by the Laboratorytalk editorial team Apr 15, 2009

Hardy Instruments's HI 4050 weight controller is now available in a factory-installed stainless-steel (Nema 4x) enclosure.

According to the company, it can be configured as a blind unit or with a keyboard and display.

A load-cell summing board or an intrinsic barrier assembly can be added to eliminate the need for a system junction box or for use in hazardous class I, II, DIV II applications.

The controller comes standard with Ethernet and optional Ethernet/IP, Devicenet, Allen-Bradley remote I/O, Profibus or Modbus TCP/IP networks.

It includes Waversaver to eliminate the effects of surrounding vibration for fast, stable weight display, command-and-control electronic calibration without test weights, a secure digital (SD)-based memory module card for the fast transfer of configuration data, a built-in web server for internet access and Integrated Technician for system diagnostics and troubleshooting.
