Acoustic and electroacoustic particle size and zeta potential analyzers join range of light scattering particle size and particle shape analysers

Horiba Instruments announces an exclusive distribution agreement for Dispersion Technology's line of acoustic and electroacoustic particle size and zeta potential analyzers for the North and South American markets These instruments join Horiba's range of light scattering particle size and particle shape analysers

The Dispersion Technology instruments add new capabilities to Horiba's range with zeta potential, and allow measurement at full concentrations.

This broadens the range of capabilities for Horibas range from 1nm to 30mm and from 1ppm to above 50vol% concentrations.

Horiba says its additional marketing and support capabilities will serve to extend the exciting new capabilities of this technology.

Dispersion Technology has developed and commercialised a range of instruments using acoustic and electroacoustic technologies for particle size and zeta potential analysis.

The electroacoustic method allows for measurement at undiluted process concentrations.

Most other techniques require dilution, which can significantly affect the sample environment, leading to measurement of a system that is quite different from the original sample condition.

Horiba develops and markets a range of light scattering particle size analysers through its network of representatives and distributors throughout the North and South American markets.

This support network will be available for the new products, as well as applications support and service.
