Harvard Apparatus says its accurate, widely published, Volume Controlled Animal Ventilator has many sleek new features The respiratory rate can be set from 18 to 150 strokes/minute
Interchangeable cylinders and pistons, make it perfect for any animal between 250g and 10kg.
Accurate tidal volume delivery is adjustable while the ventilator is running and an easy to read LED display is on top panel.
The ventilator has 'peep' capabilities (positive end expiratory pressure) and is said to be compatible with any anesthesia circuit.
The unit can pump air, oxygen or anesthetic gas mixtures to the animal.
