Feedback control maintains healthy body temperature, during and after surgery

Maintain core body temperature at a constant, healthy level with the Homeothermic Blanket system from Harvard Apparatus Suitable for animals from small mice to large dogs, the system includes a flexible heating blanket, temperature probe, and silent electronic control unit

Simple to operate; just turn on and set the target temperature.

The Homeothermic Blanket does the rest.

It may be set at normal body temperature (37C,) or can be varied from 35 to 40C.

An LCD display shows actual temperature at the probe, and LEDs on the front panel also show the proportional control of power going to the warming blanket.

Precise regulation senses internal body temperature and protects the animal by applying gentle, supplemental heat.

The low voltage DC power supply alleviates electrical interference, making this system ideal for experiments with high gain recording equipment.

For postoperative recovery, for maintaining temperature during surgery, or for providing supplemental heat to sick animals, a homeothermic blanket system is the safest method for accurate heating and temperature control.
