Monitor and maintain body temperature
Homeothermic blanket system monitors and maintains body temperature by incorporating a feedback loop to increase output automatically if temperature falls, and vice-versa
Simple to operate; just turn on and set the target temperature.
The Homeothermic Blanket does the rest.
It may be set at normal body temperature (37C,) or can be varied from 35 to 40C.
An LCD display shows actual temperature at the probe, and LEDs on the front panel also show the proportional control of power going to the warming blanket.
Precise regulation senses internal body temperature and protects the animal by applying gentle, supplemental heat.
The low voltage DC power supply alleviates electrical interference, making this system ideal for experiments with high gain recording equipment.
For postoperative recovery, for maintaining temperature during surgery, or for providing supplemental heat to sick animals, a homeothermic blanket system is the safest method for accurate heating and temperature control.
