The Inspira advanced safety ventilator is said to be the only animal respirator combining two safety features: mechanical pressure valving and software feedback to protect the animal

The Inspira ventilator is available as a volume controlled (55-7058) or pressure controlled (55-7059) ventilator Both instruments feature the Harvard Apparatus proprietary Safe Range software - simply enter the subject's weight and press enter

The Inspira automatically begins a physiologically relevant respiratory rate and tidal volume based on the entered weight.

The wide range of tidal volumes (0.1ml to 100ml) makes this respirator perfect for small to midsize mammal model organisms.
