IR Actimeter for locomotor activity,
exploration
Panlab/Harvard Apparatus offers its IR Actimeter for the study of spontaneous locomotor activity, rearing and optionally hole-board test parameters for exploration in rodents
This system is reliable and easy for rapid drug screening and phenotyping under both day and night conditions The Panlab system is said to be the only one on the market to feature interchangeable frames that can be used without distinction for rearing, activity, or poking behaviour
The system is supplied with the Panlab SeDaCom software for simple data acquisition, or it can be combined with ActiTrack - a more dynamic software package that will allow the user to analyse animal trajectories, including distance travelled, speed, and permanence time in specified zones.
References are available upon request for this system - please contact the Panlab/Harvard Apparatus technical support department for more details.
