Meiji Seika Kaisha has become the newest user of the H+T's Tox-Launcher Series with the purchase and installation of H+T's new Weight Measurement Subsystem

The Weight Measurement Subsystem is the latest product from H+T's Tox-Launcher Series, the company's main line of data management software for preclinical stage drug development Already in use in Meiji's Pharmaceutical Development Research Laboratory, the Weight Management Subsystem is a software package that manages experimental data from body weight, food consumption, water intake and organ weight tests administered during preclinical stage pharmaceutical drug development

In contrast to other preclinical software suites, which prohibit the entry of unscheduled information, the Weight Measurement Subsystem has been given a flexible design that allows for both the scheduled entry of all projected experimental data and the entry of any unanticipated measurements as well.

This allows for the inclusion of important data that would otherwise be discarded.

The system has also been designed to allow for data to be recorded both manually through direct keyboard input and automatically through the use of an attached electronic scale.

In addition, management of the Weight Measurement Subsystem can be administered in combination with the Pathology Subsystem of the same Tox-Launcher Series, removing the need for repeated input of study information.

All products from H+T's Tox-Launcher Series are compliant with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and FDA 21 CRF Regulations, and include compliance specific features such as a test management function and a data tracking system.

Moreover, the system has been designed to reflect a high degree of usability, possessing customizable experimental reports and an 'Auto-Validation' function that automatically performs system validation during operation.

Additionally, all products from the Tox-Launcher Series are sold as packaged software, allowing customers to reduce both the cost and labor associated with initial software customisation.

However, because the software is available through H+T's 'Selectable System', the customer is able to decide upon the necessary number of modules, the preferred user interface, and the particular functions of the system, giving both the customer and the end user the impression a customised system.

Furthermore, due to the fact that it is easy to add modules and features following installation, management of the system can be achieved at a relatively low cost.
