Solo/PCR workcell automates PCR protocols

A Hudson Robotics product story
Edited by the Laboratorytalk editorial team Jan 27, 2010

Hudson Robotics has introduced the Solo/PCR workcell, which supports both the preparation and purification protocols normally encountered in PCR.

The Solo/PCR workcell combines Hudson's Solo single-channel pipettor, two automated vacuum nests and Softlinx software with customisable protocols.

Hudson's Platecrane EX robot arm can also be integrated to fully automate the process; it adds the ability to transfer plates between the sample and vacuum nests.

The preparation and purification protocols and an application note describing the system are available from Hudson Robotics' website.
