Temperature monitoring for the smaller firm

An Ice Spy UK product story
Edited by the Laboratorytalk editorial team Aug 8, 2006

IceSpy UK, known for its automatic, wireless temperature measurement and logging systems, has introduced a simple to install entry level kit for the smaller organisation

Initially offering five monitoring logger/transmitters, the Mini System 5 is aimed at small laboratories, health facilities, storage companies, food shops, caterers, restaurants and all those requiring due diligence compliance under food and drugs hygiene standards.

The Mini-System comes complete with a data bridge, five Scout wireless loggers, PC software and full manual for self-installation.

The system offers all the benefits of a wireless, automatic measurement data recording system at an economic price.

Each Scout has an internal temperature sensor and a radio transmitter.

The Scout makes a measurement every minute and transmits the data every two minutes.

The bridge receives the data and delivers it to the PC.

If the PC is switched off or the Scouts moved out of range, 80 days of data can still be stored and downloaded on request.

The software offers real time and historic data access and comes in industry-standard database format.

Points of measurement can have upper and lower alarm limits set as well as alarm delays, alarm notification can be sent to selected personnel via email or SMS.

The Mini-System is upgradeable to the full Mini System 5 and as such is a good introduction to the latest generation of the IceSpy technology.

IceSpy wireless temperature monitoring technology is a revolutionary tamperproof, freezer proof and waterproof monitoring system giving the user freedom from wires, cables and connectors.

Due to the flexibility of a wireless system the user is able to easily add new sensors and move equipment.
