Anthrax detection kit wins FDA approval
JBaids was selected by the US Department of Defense as the platform for use in rapid identification of over ten deadly pathogens associated with bioterrorism and diseases of military interest.
The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved Idaho Technology's Joint Biological Agent Identification and Diagnostic System (JBaids) for use in clinical diagnosis of Bacillus anthracis, the deadly organism that causes anthrax infections The FDA approval is for testing blood and blood culture samples to aid in clinical diagnosis of anthrax in less than one hour
