An Industrial Technology Systems (ITS) product story
Edited by the Laboratorytalk editorial team Sep 17, 2004

Course has been designed to provide learners with the knowledge and skills to create Standard Operating Procedures effectively

A Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) is a set of instructions used to perform tasks in regulated industries.

Many organisations including pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers, clinical trials, dispensaries, hospitals, research universities and ISO accredited companies must have SOPs in place.

Industrial Technology Systems's How to Write SOPs course is taking place on 15 October 2004 at the Hanover International, Hinckley.

Places are limited to 16 per course so act now to avoid disappointment.

This course has been designed to provide learners with the knowledge and skills to create SOPs effectively.

The course will benefit SOP authors, SOP administrators, engineers, production and operational staff, supervisors, regulatory affairs and quality personnel.

Regular audit citations from global regulators, often include the following statements, "SOPs were out of date, not being followed or missing", or "There were no SOPs in place explaining XYZ processes".

How does your company train your employees to meet SOP regulatory expectations? This course offers guidance in effective SOP writing skills including the reasons why some SOPs are difficult to understand and use.

It also covers the management of SOPs, how SOPs fit with other documentation and SOP training in the workplace.

The training course is taking place at the four-star Hanover International, Hinckley, Leicestershire, just seconds away from junction 1 of the M69 and minutes from the M6 or M1.
