The integration of Matrix Science's Mascot search tool and data management product, Mascot Integra, with InforSense's workflow-based integrative analytics platform, InforSense KDE, enables life science researchers both to query comprehensive proteomic data using an intuitive visual workflow interface and also to include proteomics data analysis within broader cross-discipline research programs.
"The collaboration between InforSense and Matrix Science will deliver an extended environment for flexible, ad hoc querying of high volumes of proteomics data," said John Cottrell, CEO of Matrix Science.
"InforSense workflows enable life science researchers to compose and execute scientific analyses quickly and easily without programming, sharing both methods and results with co-workers".
"Mascot has become a key vendor in both academic and commercial proteomics laboratories for protein identification and we are pleased to have the opportunity to work with them," commented Jonathan Sheldon, chief scientific officer, InforSense.
"The integration of proteomic data analysis with InforSense KDE is a key component of our multidisciplinary analytics platform for systems biology.".
