To "expedite its responsiveness to global market demands", biotechnology, microbiology and cell culture apparatus manufacturer Integra Biosciences has announced a new organisational structure
In its new operational structure Integra BioSciences has formed three centres of excellence at which highly experienced employees are dedicated to translating cutting edge science into innovative new products.
The focused and expanded resource within the laboratory instrumentation, cell culture, and sample storage centres of excellence should, in addition to enhancing new product development, speed supply logistics and enhance customer support and service.
In the new structure, Integra will provide direct distribution for the centres through its own sales divisions USA and Europe / Asia (Switzerland, Germany, France, UK, Netherlands) and an extensive worldwide network of specialist sales distributors in over 70 countries.
Reflecting on the changes Josef Macaluso, VP of marketing, commented "the changes will bring more high quality innovative products to market faster and focus expertise and resource to best serve our customers around the world.".
