Secure and easy alternative to pipette
bulbs
A manual pumping aid provides a secure and user-friendly alternative to basic pipetting aids such as pipette bulbs and pipetballs suitable for weven inexperienced users
Designed for comfortable single handed pipetting in the 1-100 millilitre volume range, the Pipetboy Mini provides secure, precise liquid handling even in the hands of an occasional user Unlike other low cost pipetting devices, the Pipetboy Mini has inbuilt features to prevent accidental misuse

Safer alternative to traditional Bunsen burners
The new generation Fireboy from Integra Biosciences is an intrinsically safe alternative to the traditional Bunsen burner connected to a laboratory gas supply
Incorporating hydrophobic PTFE-membrane filters, it prevents contamination from overfilling as the penetration of liquid is prevented.
In addition the Pipetboy Mini will not squirt out under pressure even if a filled pipette is unintentionally aspirated.
At the heart of the product is a robust pump and measuring valve combined into a single unit.
This integrated unit enables easy and precise aspiration, dispensing, and blow out at the touch of a button.
The upper button on the Pipetboy Mini is used for aspiration.
When fully depressed a vacuum is created drawing in the liquid; by varying the pressure on the button an exact sample volume can be withdrawn.
The lower button can be pressed fully to dispense the full volume of the pipette or to partially dispense an exact lower volume.
To achieve smooth aspiration or dispensing the Pipetboy Mini uses a spring-magnet combination to produce maximum flow rate at a pressure point when a button is half pressed.
Fluid residue in the tip of the pipette can be discharged by quickly pressing the bottom button beyond the pressure point.
The Pipetboy Mini is a manual pipetting aid that is compatible with all commercially available glass and plastic pipetes from 1ml to 100ml.
For sensitive samples, the sterile module of the Pipetboy Mini (pipette holder including contents except filter) can be autoclaved at 120C for 30 minutes. Request a free brochure from Integra Biosciences ...
