Rebookings up, new exhibitors commit
Organiser says exhibitors show trust in International Biotech and Lab Automation Europe event, with many already signed up for the 2005 event

"We had an excellent show and see this as one of the best forums to meet both existing customers and new prospects," confirms Mark Prior of Jencons, who promises to match last year's talking point of a Mini Cooper prize draw with something equally exciting.
Prior's comments are echoed by Martin Biggs of biotech instrumentation specialist GRI: "For us International Biotech and Lab Automation forms an integral part of our overall marketing activities.
"While we won't be trying to outdo Jencons on the competition front, we will definitely have some exciting new products in a spectacular display".
The event's success is also reflected in the new exhibitors already committed for this year, including BioXplore, Adsumo, Promega, Erlab and Sanyo Biomedical- whose Katie Bowley admits: "We have been considering exhibiting for a while.
"Having seen the quality of both exhibitors and visitors last year, we decided to delay no longer".
The backing of exhibitors is one of the event's main strengths, according to exhibitions director Paula Lorimer of IIR Exhibitions: "There is a genuine groundswell of support and goodwill from leaders such as Thermo, Jencons, Beckman, Hamilton, and Anachem, since the industry recognises an event like this is essential to the health of the sector.
Naturally our key role now is to build on the number of high quality visitors from both within London and outside.
In conjunction with exhibitors we are now looking at some innovative ways to achieve this and hope to make some announcements soon".
