Ibla (International Biotech and Lab Automation Europe) will be offering its Science in Practice Award again this year
This free prize draw is open to visitors who pre-register and visit the show and consists of a £2000 grant for the winner to use as they wish on products or services offered by any of the exhibitors at Ibla One lucky scientist walked away from International Biotech and Lab Automation Europe 2004 with the £2000 Science in Practice Grant

Vicky Strzelczyk, laboratory manager at the Institute of Cancer Research was presented with the cheque on the final day.
"I am delighted to win the Science in Practice Grant, especially as it will go to a charity-funded research centre: The Breakthrough Toby Robins Breast Cancer Research Centre, at The Institute of Cancer Research," said Vicky Strzelczyk.
"The 2004 Science in Practice Grant will contribute directly towards the research here, through the purchase of bench top laboratory equipment for some new groups that we are setting up in the Breakthrough Centre.
"IBLA is an excellent place to check out new equipment and meet with suppliers all under one roof.
"It is great to be able to have so much information and new ideas all in one location.
"I will definitely be attending IBLA 2005, as it is one of the best UK exhibitions".
The Science in Practice grant will be awarded to a practising life scientist from academia, industry or government who pre-registers for and attends Ibla, or the Lab Automation Europe conference (Olympia, London, UK, 15-16 November 2005).
Registration and entrance to the exhibition is free.
The £2000 award is for the purchase of equipment, disposables, reagents, software or any other product from any of the exhibiting companies.
