Intertek acquires Alta Analytical
Laboratory
Intertek, an international provider of quality and safety services to a wide range of industries, reports that its oil, chemical and agri division (Caleb Brett) has bought Alta Analytical Laboratories
Alta is a supplier of Immunochemistry and LC/MS/MS bio-analytical services to the pharmaceutical and biotech industries in North America Alta has laboratories located in San Diego and near Sacramento, California with approximately 110 staff and counts major global pharmaceutical companies among its clients

Intertek already provides testing services to pharmaceutical clients from its laboratories in the UK.
